Meet Chief Chameleon, Asti Kanaris

Hello! Thank you for stopping by my corner of the Interweb. I am Asti, and the name behind Service Chameleon – a small, friendly, hands-on services company, with the simple intent of helping businesses get organised, efficient, and delivering customer service excellence to their clients! Like a chameleon, I have the skills and ability to adapt and be quite flexible on demand, doing what it takes to get things done and according to your needs –  quality runs thorugh every aspect of my service, and I never fail to impress.

Let me tell you a little bit about myself – I’ll stick to the highlights, as I reckon over 22 years of experiences in a career as eclectic as I’ve had will end up being a tome instead of a bio! My first real venture into solo financial independence was when I acquired a bricks and mortar retail business in South Africa for many years not too long after I left school; eventually moving to the UK and joining the NHS, which is where I gradually acquired a taste – and eventually passion – for technology and it’s potential. It all come together at eCommerce giant Amazon.com, were as a QA I was part of a distributed team that launched a series of online stores, but is where I also found a niche in the customer-centric policies that drive Amazon.

Never being one to forego a challenge, I next ventured into the world of IPTV, and my very first taste of startup life – needless to say, this is where the bug bit; and I soon joined another startup, Amplience. As member of the SMT, I helped the company navigate through what was to be a very dynamic and adventurous journey for 4 years, wearing very many hats along the way! At the helm of Professional Services, Implementation & Delivery, Customer Success and Operational Delivery Services, I helped to deliver prominent, high profile, and very complex operations, infrastructure and services projects on a global scale, simultaneously engineering business wide process modelling to ensure everything ticked along smoothly and scaled as the business grew.
